from 201 reviewsIf you have a hill in your yard that makes a rider not an option and your getting to old to push it this is the answer.

Mowrater AWD is probably the most fun I have ever had with yard work, but its also super fun period. It has had zero problem with the slopes, and tall dead grass I have thrown at it this season. My parents in their 60's have used it and love it as well. The battery 18 size battery gives me plenty of time to get the job done, and go in and take a break, buy the time the battery is dead I am ready to be done anyways. I have about 15 acres of this tall grass, and have been working through it piece by piece. Worth every penny!

Attached the hitch to my mower and used it to pull my yard cart. really worked well and I don't have to get my tractor out.

I was skeptical at first. But I love my mower. I had knocked an hour of my mowing time. I went from pushing to just following this one. I would definitely recommend this mower.

I had questions about this mower and the hills I have to mow in West Virginia. The 4WD handled it well. Battery life is good and the unit is a beast.

I have a very sandy, very hilly 2 acres that I’ve tried every mower short of a Venatrac. The slopes very from 11-27 degrees. The traditional lap bar zero turn just slides down the steep hills. I then purchased a cub cadet with a steering wheel and ROPS in case it did roll. It did somewhat better than the standard zero turn (Toro Titan 48”) that I almost flipped, but it would still leave significant tire scars in the grass. I’ve ran a 30” toro walk behind and that takes forever, is quiet physically demanding, and still leaves tracks, I don’t have the gumption to run a string trimmer on that much of my lawn. So this mowrator handles to treacherous parts absolutely flawlessly with minimal effort. I zero turn anything under 17 degrees, and mowrator the rest. I do kinda wish it had AI and GOS interfacing so I could do it autonomously, but it’s really not hard walking around with it. And it’s so well built and robust, I wouldn’t trade it for a lighter duty robot mower. This mower is life changing for tough lawns. Highly recommend it.

A 63 year olds dream.
I was still cutting the grass with my 20 year old self propelled push lawn mower until I found the perfect remote control mower. I
I purchased the all wheel drive mower for my tiered lawn. There is no stopping it. Up and down and around.
I also purchased the tow package and it pulls with ease my small wagon filled with 25 shovel scoops of dirt.
I’m thinking of buying another one just to give this one a break 😎

Incredible machine. Of course it’s a “luxury “ to have this piece of equipment but it’s as much rugged as it is trendy.

I've been using mine for about a month now. I've never, ever in my entire life been so excited "to cut grass". I bought mine from "Mike" who did a review for your company and every single time I use it "it literally stops traffic" I love everything about it however I would just put the same high functioning tires on them and add headlights because sometimes I'm cutting at night. I'd also put some sort of tracking device on it as well. That's my only thought. Other than those few adjustments I love cutting my grass. I love sitting at a corner of my yard and watching the mower do it thing. "Thank you" for inventing this....

This is my second review after using my little “bulldog”. This machine is very well made and performs. No issues once one learns to properly use y maintain. Setting controls are fairly simple if not intuitive. Needs camera which should be part of package. This is an expensive machine but would be worth price if camera was standard as opposed to expensive add-on
This bulldog will climb as advertised.

It is great on steep hills. No more huffing and puffing to get them done . Don't have to worry about falling down the hills and the lawn mower falling and coming after me. Love the mower. Best investment ever.

I’m totally impressed with this machine, works excellent for my needs. Does hills ok if you drive it directly up or down the hill. It has made mowing more fun and efficient. Highly recommended.

This is a marvelous machine! It tackled my steeply sloped yard with no problems. Customer Service has also been very responsive and supportive.

Shipping was a good expeerience. It was very well packaged. it was packaged so well that we didn't even see the 2 black foam blocks between the rear wheels and the mower body until after we had mowed the lawn the first time. It was easy to get out of the box. Just tipped up the back end and ran it out of the box on it's front wheels. Downloaded a software update and I was in business.
I got the 4WD due to all of the slopes in my yard. If you turn around at every end, you are going to skuff up your grass, eventually leaving some bare spots. But I run it forward to one end and then angle backwards into the next path and mow backwards to the other end. It's faster and avoids all of the skuff marks. I would love to get their video camera so I didn't have to walk along with it but because I do half of my mowing backwards, I wouldn't be able to see where I was mowing when in reverse. Their camera should be like a cellphone with a front and rear camera and it should be controlled by the FWD/REV joy stick so that when you run in reverse, it is using the rear camera and when running FWD it is controlled by the front camera. I'd buy it in a minute.
I got the 18amp battery. I can mow my front and back yard almost 2 times (minus a couple of paths). Charging the mower is quick at 90 minutes. It will not run the blade when the mower battery gets to 10% but the drive wheels will continue to run.
It does a fantastic job of bagging and a decent job of mulching. The bag holds a lot and is easy to empty. And I have had no problems with grass sticking to the underside of the mower which is better than any mower I have owned. We have peony bushes and this mower is so easy to mow around and under the bushes.
The sensors work very well slowing down when within 3 feet of anything and stop when Iabout 1 foot from anything. And the front bumper stops it everytime it touches something. The problem I have is that I make very few passes thru my yard without being within 3 feet of something that I just run with the sensors off.
The remote battery advertises 8 hours of use on a charge which is pretty accurate and charges quickly.
I've had no issues with the mower and one issue with the remote. I e-mailed Support and they got right back to me and are sending another. So Support so far has been great.
Although it's pricey, I am very pleased with this mower and how it performs.

Bought because I live on the river and have a steep bank and getting to old to keep weed eating it every week. It’s a 35 degree + slope and the Mowrator tackles it with no issues. I was concerned it wouldn’t perform on such a slope as advertised, but have been very impressed.
Biggest problem is every time I cut the grass I have to deal with somebody pulling in the driveway and asking about it!
