1. What is the difference between Mowrator S1 2WD and Mowrator S1 4WD?

Both models deliver the same strong cutting performance and can easily cut thick, tall, and tough grass.

The only key difference is their slope handling ability:

  • 4WD: Designed for sloped terrain, handling up to 75% (37°) with the 4WD Standard Tires Version, 85% (40°) with the 4WD Wide Wheels Version, and 100% (45°) with the 4WD Deformable Tires Version.
  • 2WD: For flat ground and gentle slopes below 24°.

Adjustable cutting height range:

  • 4WD: 1.5–4.3 inches (5 adjustable heights: 1.5, 1.9, 2.6, 3.3, 4.3 inches)
  • 2WD: 1.8–4.6 inches (5 adjustable heights: 1.8, 2.2, 2.9, 3.6, 4.6 inches)

2. How long does the battery last, and what is the maximum mowing area it can cover?

Mowrator S1 is powered by 56V lithium iron phosphate batteries in two capacities, with a cycle life of 1500 cycles — 3 times the industry average.

56V 18Ah battery:

  • Runtime: Up to 2 hours 15 minutes
  • Coverage: Up to 1.125 acres
  • Charging time (600W charger): ~90 minutes

56V 12Ah battery:

  • Runtime: Up to 1 hour 30 minutes
  • Coverage: Up to 0.75 acres
  • Charging time (600W charger): ~70 minutes.

Note: Actual battery runtime depends on blade type (standard, high-lift, self-sharpening high-lift), grass height, cutting height, and terrain conditions (slopes, uneven ground).

For the 18Ah battery:

  • With standard blades, the maximum running time for our battery is between 0.6 to 3.2 hours.
  • For regularly maintained lawns, the running time is generally between 2 to 3.2 hours.
  • For lawns that are not regularly maintained, the running time is between 1.5 to 2 hours.
  • For lawns that are left unattended for a long time with tall grass, the running time is between 0.6 to 1.5 hours.

3. What is the safety performance of the Mowrator S1 lawn mower?

The Mowrator S1 lawn mower has been designed with safety in mind, ensuring the safety of everyone and everything around it. It is equipped with 4 ultrasonic sensors to avoid collisions, as well as a front bumper for an additional layer of protection. It also has sensors that slow down and safely stop the machine and blades in case of tilting or rolling over.

4. Is it controlled only by a remote control, and how far can the control distance reach?

Yes, the Mowrator S1 remote mowing robot is controlled by a remote control. However, for large areas, the one-key straight and one-key turning functions can be enabled, and the remote control signal coverage range can reach 400 meters (about 1300 feet) . Considering safety and visual range, the remote control distance of 100 meters (about 300 feet) is sufficient (the remote control distance can be extended by adjusting the remote control distance setting as needed)

5. Can people with limited mobility use it?

Yes, the Mowrator S1 lawn mower itself is not only controlled by remote control, making it easy for people with limited mobility to mow, but we also have a series of functions to help people with limited mobility use our lawn mower robot. This includes the ability to adjust settings to enter one-handed operation mode, allowing the machine to be controlled forward and turn with a single joystick using one hand.

6. What are the advantages of the Mowrator S1 lawn mower compared to the gasoline version?

  • Powered by a battery, it does not produce exhaust emissions, making it more environmentally friendly.
  • Using LiFePO4 batteries reduces the hassle of frequently replacing batteries. There is no need to change oil, spark plugs, or other parts, resulting in lower maintenance costs.
  • The Mowrator S1 4WD can handle slopes up to 100% (45 degrees), suitable for complex and steep terrain.
  • The electric lawn mower operates at a lower noise level, with a maximum noise level of around 63 decibels, providing a more comfortable mowing experience, especially in residential areas. Gasoline lawn mowers typically exceed 100 decibels in noise.
  • It is more labor-saving, safe to use on slopes, and more efficient than gasoline lawn mowers.

7. What are the advantages of the Mowrator S1 lawn mower compared to the push version?

  • It has an automatic obstacle avoidance function, using front and side ultrasonic sensors to detect obstacles, people, and pets, and stopping movement and blade rotation when approaching, increasing the safety of use.
  • Operated by a remote control, there is no need to personally push the lawn mower to work.
  • The Mowrator S1 4WD can easily handle slopes up to 100%, without the effort of pushing up the mountain and avoiding accidental dangers, while push lawn mowers are usually difficult or unable to operate on steep terrain, without the effort of pushing up the mountain and avoiding accidental dangers.

8. What are the advantages of the mechanical design of the Mowrator S1 lawn mower compared to smart lawn mowers?

  • Supports three-in-one mowing modes: bagging, mulching, and rear discharge, suitable for different mowing needs.
  • Simple and intuitive operation, it is an easy-to-use tool with stronger universality (elderly people can operate).
  • The design is sturdy and durable, capable of working in harsh environments, such as arid areas, helping to reduce the risk of fires.
  • It can accurately mow irregularly shaped areas in the lawn, places with obstacles (such as curbs), or parts that require special trimming, avoiding omissions or over-trimming. The climbing ability is stronger than that of smart lawn mowers, which mainly rely on preset programs and sensors to work, and their ability to cope with complex terrain or special circumstances is relatively weak.
  • The structure of the Mowrator lawn mower robot is relatively simple, and the maintenance cost is relatively low. Routine maintenance mainly includes blade replacement and machine cleaning, which is simple to operate and can be completed by the user themselves, saving on maintenance costs. If high-tech parts of the automatic lawn mower fail, the repair costs may be quite expensive and require professional technicians for repair.
  • The mowing effect is more flat and clean, it can use suction to pull up the grass and cut more neatly with a long straight blade; it can deal with thick grass/weeds;
  • Long-lasting power, high work efficiency, can reach 700~1000 square meters per hour. The general smart lawn mower is 200~400 square meters per hour;
  • Convenient for deployment in different places. Smart lawn mowers are generally used for fixed venues.

9. Can Mowrator S1 4WD and 2WD models share accessories sold on the official website?

Yes, various types of blades, wide wheels, 18ah and 12ah batteries, and other accessories sold on the official website are compatible with both models.

Please note that the number of standard wheels for two-wheel and four-wheel models is different. Two-wheel models only need to buy one pair of wide tires, while four-wheel models need to buy two pairs of wide wheels.

10. Is the Mowrator S1 lawn mower charger plug compatible with my region?

Currently, the Mowrator S1 lawn mower charger plugs come in US, EU, UK, and AU standards. If your country is not compatible, please contact customer service to obtain a converter plug.

11. What are the mowing modes provided by Mowrator S1 lawn mower, and does it include mulching?

Of course, Mowrator S1 lawn mower offers three mowing modes: Mulching, Bagging, and Discharge. You can choose the mowing mode according to the condition of your lawn. Below are the specific scenarios for the three modes:

  • (Mulching)

Mulching mode refers to the lawn mower cutting the grass leaves into very fine fragments during mowing, which then directly fall on the lawn as a natural fertilizer and moisture-retaining layer. This mode is suitable for users who want to keep their lawn moist and healthy while reducing lawn maintenance work.

  • (Bagging)

Bagging mode allows the lawn mower to collect the cut grass leaves while mowing. The grass leaves are collected into a rear collection bag, which makes it easy to manage and dispose of the cut grass. This mode is suitable for users who need to regularly clean the lawn or do not want grass clippings scattered on the lawn.

  •  (Discharge)

Discharge mode refers to the lawn mower discharging the grass leaves from the rear side during mowing, instead of collecting or covering. This mode is suitable for users who need to quickly clean up large areas of lawn or need to quickly clean up grass clippings before engaging in other activities (such as sports or entertainment) on the lawn

12. How to choose blades?

  • High Lift Blade:

Suitable for situations where enhanced grass clipping pickup is needed, especially in wet conditions. The high lift blade is designed to provide excellent suction, effectively picking up grass clippings.

Suitable for wet grass conditions, ensuring the lawn is clean and tidy with minimal effort.
